What Is Blackjack and Why Is It Popular in Malaysia?
Blackjack is one of the longest-running card games in casinos around the world, and it is now fully available online through the 1899rich platform. The goal is simple: your hand must be closer to 21 than the dealer's, without going over 21 — a situation known as a bust.
Unlike slots, which rely entirely on luck, blackjack gives players room to apply strategy. Every decision — whether to hit, stand, double down or split — affects the outcome. This is what makes blackjack a favourite among strategic players in Malaysia, including those who play in Kuala Lumpur or from other locations.
At 1899rich, you can choose between classic tables with virtual cards and live dealer tables that stream the game in real time from a casino studio. Both options are available under one account, with no need to switch platforms.

Basic Blackjack Strategy You Should Know
Blackjack is not purely luck — players who understand basic strategy can reduce the house edge considerably. Here are some principles used by experienced players at 1899rich:
Exclusive Offer
1899rich Welcome Bonus for Blackjack Players
New 1899rich players are eligible for a 100% welcome bonus on their first deposit, up to RM500. The bonus can be used at blackjack tables, the live casino and other games on the platform.
The wagering requirement is 15 times the bonus value — meaning before winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn, you need to meet that wagering requirement. Here is a calculation example:
Another example: deposit RM1,200 → bonus RM500 → balance RM1,700 → wagering RM500 × 15 = RM7,500. This bonus is the promotion figure stated on the website; other promotions such as birthday rewards, cashback reloads and others are available on the platform without a fixed value stated.
